How does leave management work?
In the "Staff Availability & Leave" section, select a staff member, choose the leave type (Sick, Annual, Maternity, Study, etc.), set the start and end dates, and click "Add Leave". When you generate the roster, those dates will automatically display the leave type code.
What is fatigue management and why does it matter?
Fatigue management limits the maximum number of consecutive shifts a staff member can work and enforces minimum rest hours between shifts (e.g., the EU Working Time Directive requires 11 hours between shifts). Set these values in the Planning Period section. This protects staff wellbeing and reduces scheduling errors.
